Recently I upgraded Vegas 5 to Vegas 6. Everything was working fine until I finally had tested everything then decided to uninstall Vegas 5. After I uninstalled it it seems to have taken the contents of C:/program files/Vstplugins with it. So I have no Track FX and when I try to open a project that previously was working in 6 now I get a bunch of errors saying it can't open Sony Track Noise Gate, Sony Track EQ, and Sony Track Compressor. It repeats the error for every track that I was using these FX on. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I've tried reinstalling vegas 5 but you can't without uninstalling 6 and I don't want to loose my custom settings and video filters also. I can't reinstall 6 either, without removing it. When you try to specify another folder in the options...VST Plugin tab it never finds anything in there.
Oh, also, when you click on the Track FX for an audio track you can see the noise gate, compressor, etc, but a lot of them say something about possibly needing a dongle to operate them. I assume this is just because it can't find them.
Anyway, I really need to get this project out of limbo and get these filters back to any sugestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks;
Eric.
