Total Lunar Eclipse - (03/03/07)

I saw it tonight from my deck..

I was chattin it up with some chicas on the phone about plans..and they all of a sudden start screaming..OMFGGG ECLIPSE...so I immediately grabbed my camera and makeshift tripod and started taping it..clear night...It was sooo niice.

Too bad I couldnt get it in HD..dont have my P2 card yet...but it came out pretty good on the tape...I'll post it in the morning when I have more time.

we had a very clear sky here in brazil, at the beginning of it the moon turned red and was beautiful. hope i´ll still on earth to watch the next one.
cheers.

Hey D-Boz, are you going to post the eclipse vid?

I would like to see it since I was occupied with my girlfriend at the time :-Happy(DBG):

OK..So I ran into a problem. The tape i was using to record this footage..im guessing was used WAYY too many times...so i had dropped frames like a mofo. I managed to find a few frames in here and added brightness and contrast to kinda help out the image.

It came out really grainy too...perhaps someone wanna PM me some good settings on the HVX for low light? :D

heres the pics i managed to recover:
