I bought a toshiba television that I have had numerous prblems with right out o fhte box. The televisions grayscale was more like dark blue so everything was tinted. It was hell taking it backa nd forth t service stations since they did horrible jobs fixing it. Now that everything is working I noticed that the 16:9 squeeze on the television is more like 16:10 or 12. Its very annoying when I am editing. Is there something I could do to fix this?
 
find the model number and possibly enter the service menu to fix it yourself.

What is the model number?
 
doesnt look like i can find any advance feature sets for a simple CRT like that, i would recommend exchanging it for the same thing from where you got it, thats your best bet.
