Toronto 48-Hour Film Challange - Looking for crew

I'm putting together a team for this year's 48-Hour Film Challenge in Toronto.

It's happening the weekend of October 22nd.

We're looking for anyone that's interested in participating, but in particular it would
be great to find any sound persons, cinematographers, camera assistants or compositors.

We'll be shooting the film with DSLRs.

We've participated in 24-Hour Challenges in the past and it's a very fun and
collaborative process. Enthusiasm is more important than experience.

Please PM me if interested. In them meantime, you can watch what we did
for the last 24-Hour Challenge. The random genre was "Do-It-Yourself"

Once we have our team in place, I think it would be great to use this forum to discuss our strategy. It's an
intense 48-hour to be sure. A combination of carbs, caffeine and little sleep. But it's also four years of film
school crammed into a single weekend. Glorious.
 
Thanks to all those that have contacted me so far. Looks like we're going to have a solid team.

Still looking for a sound person. It's the one thing that often gets overlooked in these challenges.
If there's anyone in TO with experience we'd love to have you.

We'll be shooting with my Canon 7D set up. I've got a variety of lenses, follow-focus, matte box etc.
However, if you've also got a 7D or 5D and want to participate, we could always use a second camera
operator. It's particularly helpful when the clock is ticking. Just send me an email.

We're all set to go for the challenge this weekend. Should be a great time.

Our team has both experience and enthusiasm. I can wait to begin our collaboration.
At the very least, I get to spend 48 intense hours my fellow filmmakers. What could be better?

We still have room for a soundman or boom operator if you'd like to join. We'll be supplying
all the equipment. However, you'll have to get back to me ASAP.
