my company needs a camera mount that can handle an HVX200 pointing straight down over a table - Any ideas? I know they exist but I don't know what they're called or how to find them.
It sound's like you're looking for a copy stand. These are typically made for still cameras, but it shouldn't be very hard to mount a camera the size of the HVX on a decent sized one.
If you already have a good sized tripod, you could always fit that with an arm.
