1- The Eye - This is a Japaneese ghost story, which America has alrighy bought the rights for. I thought this was pretty good, much better then the grudge, and some other Japaneese horror movies, if your into the ghost stuff, check this out.
Story: A blind girl gets a cornea transplant so that she would be able to see again. However, she got more
2- Dial M For Murder - Oh man, one of my favorite films, hitchcock, what else do I need to say in order for you to rent this? If your into thrillers and suspense go rent it!.
Story: An ex-tennis pro carries out a plot to murder his wife. When things go wrong, he improvises a brilliant plan B
3- Amadeus- This movie tells the story of Mozart. This had some good acting in it, if your a fan of mozart or like classical music at all, go check this out, it's got great picture and great writing.
Story: The incredible story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, told in flashback mode by Antonio Salieri - now confined to an insane asylum.
4- Platoon- This is a great war movie, written/directed by Oliver Stone. I thought this was pretty good for a war movie, and I don't like much war movies, so I reccomend this one as well.
Story: A young recruit in Vietnam faces a moral crisis when confronted with the horrors of war and the duality of man.
5- Shindllers List- Amazing movie, alittle long, but it's got that feel, and directed by Spielberg. Go rent this.
