Top 20 "That Guy" in Hollywood

Ha...I agree with their #1 pick.

Also...JT Walsh was THE guy to hate in his roles...he played them well...RIP.

I can't argue about Mr. Paymer either...lol

James Cromwell, I thought was a bad #1, but I guess that is because I knew his name. I met him once on set. We were shooting an indie-feature on two HVX200's about two years ago, and he was apparently a friend of the owner of the location. He came over to the house when we were wrapping out and walked up to me. I was the 1st AC and camera provider on the show, and he started asking me all about the HVX200. He was pretty curious about how it recorded to P2 cards and not tape. He sure is one nice, and tall, dude. He's been in almost everything and has had many epic parts. I disagree with this article because it says he acts well enough to just not get noticed. Ever seen LA Confidential?! My god he has one of the best parts!

PS: It was literally the next day, after I met him, he had a major bicycle accident and was badly hurt for a short bit. It made all the news outlets, so it was either a slow news day, or he's more famous than the author of this article thinks.

Couldn't name 3 of them...
But the one guy I could NEVER remember the name of...even when I ran into him in the supermarket...was Carl Ballantine.

I even had to Bing him just now to get his name. Again.

Luckily, his obit was the top pick.

Well..."luckily" might not be best word. :(

Funny article. Some of those guys I recognize, some not.

Higher up on the food chain is this guy:

Sure you know him, but what's his name?

Stephen Tobolowsky was a guitarist and back up singer in Stevie Ray Vaughan's first band the Blackbirds.
