It's kind of funny and disturbing to me when an old thread pops up and I see a post from myself from 2005/2006. I was appalled when I went back a couple of pages to find my list, and found that I engaged in something of a mini-debate with Callaghan, but I was being kind of a dick. I would have been 19 back then. I'll be 23 this year. I hate finding posts from myself from the first couple years I was here because I still had that teenage snark, with an inflated sense of my opinions. Not that I'm so much wiser now, but I am a bit more zen and tactful with discussion, when I do engage in it. I don't have the impulse to rip people's opinions/tastes to shreds anymore. I don't recognize the guy who wrote those old posts.
Ott, you're still a dick. Sorry.
Wow, old thread. I went back to find my posts, and I was kind of appalled with what I saw. I still love all the bands on my list, but most of them, I don't think I'd include on a list of greatest bands of all time. Just the three I left in above. I only took out The Beatles because it's like including Citizen Kane on a list of greatest films of all time. They've been included on the top of these lists for so long, they don't really need to be included anymore. We all know they're great and they changed music. Let's put something else on the list, shall we?
