tool Palette and VU meter get stuck

this happening to anybody else?

It's pretty darn annoying to have to quit and restart FCP just to use the razor tool.

If I've had the app open for an hour or so I can neither move my tool palette nor the VU meter and I cannot access tools in the pallette


????
