Too Good to be True?

Am looking to buy a second DVX 100(or 100A). Found a place on line called A&M Photo World selling the 100A(supposedly new) for $1599 after a $300 rebate. I'm wondering if anybody is familiar with this company and is this offer too good to be true?

I would also like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all the people who are responsible for the success of this site. I've been reading information here for quite some time but this is the first time I've posted anything.

don't trust anything that's "too good to be true" ... becasue with video cameras, it is.

EVSONLINE.com
BHPHOTOVIDEO.com

you're ONLY two reliable sources. sorry to break it to ya :(

Thanks for the quick response. I've dealt with EVS several times and always felt they were fair with me. I'm actually waiting for a call back from EVS right now for some information. I was just wondering if anybody had ever dealt with A&M. It never hurts to ask around.

yes, be very aware of these supposetly great bargins because you're going to end up being skrewd in the end. Caution!! Caution!!

.6? thats not bad considering last time they didn't make a point.

It is altogether possible that you will not qualify for the $300 rebate. We do not offer that on gray market cameras. Also you wont receive the Magic Bullet for Editosr or Barry Green's book not to mention no warranty here in the US.

Hope this helps,

Jan
