Too good to be true, what am I missing here?

given the retail in canada of around twice this price, seems to good to be true.

anything obvious I should be wary of?

Really!
goes to show how much we get hosed in canada then, best sale I've ever seen here is $100 off.

The current price at B&H Photo has this lens as Canon 24-105mm f/4L : $1,149, so I think the price listed is a very good deal. ( Amazon.com has it for $699 right now )

Yeah, upon further research there are some NIB (kit lens) for sale on kijiji and craigslist for around $900CDN. Once you add in the shipping and customs to canada from the ebay listing you're getting close to that price.

Still a good deal if your in the US though.

Thanks for the input all!

There was such a glut of this lens from people buying the 5D3 kit a while back that I saw them going for $600 NIB asking price on Craigslist.

It goes back even further than the MKIII. I had the 24-105 included with the original 5D. No one should have to buy it new. Great lens by the way.
