Tony Scott's Agent Orange

A silent short film on Amazon.com, shot with style much like Man on Fire.

The interesting note is that in the credits it lists where you can buy what they are wearing and you can click on the credits and go straight there. I think this is the new online commercial, short films that grab your attention, and direct-to-supplier-links to get you to the product. I think it's a genious marketing ploy.

Agreed!

It's the second of atleast 5 scheduled shorts aimed to market items. Tony's is the best out of the two that have been made so far.

Re: Tony Scott's Agent Orange

I've already bought everything except the watch. I get it in on tuesday!

Not really. ;)

Hey Thistlebop, do you have the link to the first one? and who's it made by? Was it any good?

Re: Tony Scott's Agent Orange

I wasn't very impressed with this. Then again I didnt like this style in Man on Fire either. Overly flashy, draws attention to itself instead of telling the story.
I think this is a good idea. I think everyone has seen something in a movie and said, "I wonder where I could get one of those?"

The BMW short movies where way better.

Sorry, I looked around but couldn't find it. The first movie starred Minnie Driver and was available to see at the same site that I saw Agent Orange. The first movie was decent, but not as good as Agent Orange. It's more of a comedy. There are actual spoken lines, instead of the "silent" film by Scott.

Re: Tony Scott's Agent Orange

Reminds me of the BMW films that were made a couple of years back - any of you remember those? They're still available online and they kick ass:

www.bmwfilms.com

Check them out!
