Ok. I was fortunate enough to see part of the film at a screening at the LA film festival. It is awesome!! This is going to get Tom another Oscar nod, maybe even a win. At the screening he explained his character and why he chose the role. He was very humble and honest in his answers and I thinkg this movie is gonna be knocked out of the ballpark. Michael Mann discussed the style and how he shot the film. It truly is brilliant. GO SEE THIS MOVIE. The film was shot partially digitally. A new style was incorporated into intense scenes.
