tokyo gear rental

does anyone have a good lead on gear rental in tokyo? we need some basic grip (c-stands, bags, etc) and a medium-sized head and sticks.

some of the quotes we've gotten thus far are off the charts, so we're open to alternatives... owner-operator, smaller rental houses, etc.

dates are nov. 1 - 9.

hey anthony,

we ended up taking gear from the states. in the end, it made more sense for us to just pay the extra baggage fees and work off rates in the US than to pay rates in tokyo, which in general are quite high.

we did find one place - http://www.asiahiretokyo.com - that had more reasonable rates, but still didn't work off the 3-day week idea and charge for each day, weekends included. so if your shoot isn't too long, it might be a better option.
