Well I am ordering a new DVX today. Ultimately I don't think th Fx1 is there yet and the Z1/HDX(post NAB) is oiut of my price range. I PMed Rush and will place my order when he calls me this morning. This decision was a difficult one. The allure of the Fx1 and my 65inch big screen was almost too much. I didn't finalize my decision untill I woke up this morning. Hopefully I can get it next day aired and shoot some footage this weekend. Thanks to Barry and all who weighed in on the matter.

And an even greater feeling when you see your first clips. That's when you KNOW you made the right decision. Have fun!

Last year I put off my big screen TV for my DVX.

This past winter I did my first paid work with the dvx ($7,500) and now I am going to use that money for the big screen TV.

See, you can have your cake and eat it too.
