I just burned a Blu-ray Disc using Toast 10 and my Lacie d2 burner (it took many hours to make a full disc).
Toast is an easy program to use and I was able to make a simple Menu.
I added a bunch of different kinds of Quicktimes for Toast to encode.
1. 720 24p from HVX200
2. 1080i from Sony HDV Camera
3. 720 24p (59.94) from Varicam
4. 1080 24p from EX1
These files all came from Final Cut Pro. I exported them as Quicktime Files/Current Settings in FCP, then dropped these HD Quicktimes into Toast.
Toast did a great job with all of the files except for the 1080 24p file. That files looks great, but strobes.
The video quality is impressive. If only I could figure out how to get rid of the strobing in the 1080 24p video.
My HDTV is old. It's 720p/1080i. I tested the disc in my Sony Playstation 3.
Thanks!
