Your link isn't working for me. I don't like to put preamps between the tripod and camera, as it needlessly raises the center of gravity in my opinion. I clamp my preamp to my tripod's pan arm, but your Sound Devices 3m might be too heavy for that.

If there's a 1/4-20 or 3/8 screw on the SD that can be used to screw into the bottom of the plate and you have a quick release Arca-type plate for your camera then you can use the one in the above link. (I looked at the 3M but I don't know how that screw works on the device.)
