i have a project that was started in 6.5 and then imported into 1.5 last week. Its a very very mixed project and I can't seperate the 24p from the 60i in my segments. But of course with the 24p on my 60i timeline the footage is obviously terrible looking, jittery etc. I can't upgrade to 2.0 cuz my system will not support it. And this is one massive project so going to vegas would be a load of work on its own. Anyone have a simple work around for this?

Solution.

Because I have the avi files pre-cut in Scenelyzer all I had to do was import the originals into premiere 6.5. Add a 29.97 clip to the head of the timeline and export as a whole. I import it & once inside 1.5 it plays the way it should. So i'll get the final cut of the film done and just re-import the 24p clips sequence by sequence via premiere 6.5.

who says that there isnt' a use for 6.5 after all. Adobe makes a great product if you combine multiple versions of it for a single use haha.
