Does anyone have any idea how to transfer footage from Tivo to a Mac or PC? Overall, I'm looking to have capabilities of editing or putting some of the footage on DVD. Any advice?

Try hooking your camera up to the tv somehow then record it onto a minidv tape. Then just capture it as normal on your computer. I have done this with VHS tapes. Just experiment with it.
