titling in vegas help

I'm at the point where I need to create titles and I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to do what I want to do (and if I have the right program to do it). One idea is to have the letters of the title appear as if a typewriter or word processor were typing them (in other words, not just fade up as a whole word at once, but gradually). Also, I want to do four of the five words in white, but one word in red.
Any ideas? Can I do this just in Vegas or perhaps Boris graffitti? Or do I need something else? Any help is very much appreciated.

And it might be easier to create the end result first, make multiple copies of it, then delete the not-to-be-shown-yet letters from the copies. That should make lining everything up a little easier, anyway.

This is so simple jessicastar.

Insert VIDEO TRACK
Insert TEXT MEDIA

Select the FONT Type and Size and color and placement and effects as needed...

Insert Keyframe
Type the first letter of the word(s)
Insert Keyframe
Type the next letter

and so on so forth...

Easy as Weezy

Remember you can do anything 5 different ways in vegas. Just be creative, because vegas can do anything!!!

Thanks

Thanks

Ok, everything worked out great. Got exactly what I was looking for, and yeah, it was easy. I had a feeling it would be, I just hadn't messed with the titling stuff much and needed a kick-start. Thanks for all you guys' help.
