Hi Everybody. I'm going to be shooting a doc with a DVX100A, and I'll be cutting on FCP HD. I'll be shooting in 24PA mode for release on DVD and (in my dreams) an eventual film out. So here's my question: if I edit in a 23.98 timeline, will my titles have the "film like" properties of the DVX footage? I'm primarily a DP, so my knowledge of DNLE's is limited, but it looks like I'll be directing and editing this project.

If this question has been addressed before I apologize. I searched the forum, but couldn't seem to find an answer.

If by "film look" you mean color, that would be entirely up to you and the colors you pick. I'm assuming that by "film look" you actually mean 24P, and the answer is that yes, FCP will match the titles to the sequence you put them in. As long as you have a 24P sequence, you will have 24P titles.
