"Titles" Vegas 8.0a

I film skateboarding and i am getting sick of the titles i make because well honestly i dont know much.

Does anyone who edits skating know any tutorials to "writing out text" or "walking over text" or other "skate video titles" for my videos.

If anyone could send a link that would be helpfull thanks in advance.

I personally find that vegas's text is missing something to it, sharpness or something. I personally go straight to after effects for the text.
