Couldn't you keyframe your text, like change the scale from 105 back to 100% in half a sec. Do it for every 2 secs. Do you get what I'm talking about. I don't know complex you want it to look. That's usually how I do a simple pulsating effect. I just keyframe the scaling of the text.
