Title Pixel aspect ratio is 1.2, why?

The video is all .9, and when I have a title on the screen at the same time as video, since the title is 1.2 I guess, it shrinks the screen in that area after it's exported.

Also, when I put footage in reverse it had a similar effect, the reverse footage plays in a different aspect ratio, with black bars on all 4 sides.

Any idea why?

Also when I try to put a video transition into the video, it shrinks the aspect ratio.
Is the transition's pixel aspect ratio set to 1.2 by default or some such?
How do I change that?
I went to properties for the Title and it says "Pixel Aspect Ratio 1.2" but I couldn't figure out how to change it..

Maybe it's just because I'm using 1.5?

The latest, as video is exporting to other format, try to export different screen format.

right click the title cards in your bin, select "intepret footage" and then set the ratio to .9. Not sure why' it's 1.2

What is your project setting? (ie. did you use a Project preset and which one?)

yeah 1.2 is anamorphic 16:9 pixel aspect. as suggested above id check your project settings and just use the interpret footage command to change the pixel aspect for the item.
