Title and Action Safe Question

hey all-

do the title and action safe ares pertain only to TV use. for example, if i plan to project my film in a theater, will it show the full frame. i had a video transfer done and it had some frame-line issues. the technician told me that it would be cut out by action safe, but i don't know.

any help is much appreciated.

Projectors should show the whole thing. Action safe is by no means foolproof to keep something out of the shot, even on a TV.
