Titan tube, Quasar or alternatives?

I'm looking to get one titan tube or quasar rs100 unless there's an alternative you guys know about?

What's the rs100?

As far as a titan vs. rainbow comparison, I'd go with the titans. Their built-in battery means you only need to worry about the tube, not a cable and battery. Titans can easily be mounted with their eye bolt at either end. IMO they look closer to a light that may exist in nature vs. the black ends of the rainbows. But also its seems like nobody gives AF anymore, so who cares. Titans have the small stand which lets you easily mount them vertically on the ground.

Just worked with titans today.

I really enjoyed them. The app made getting patterns and colours easy. I’d use them again in a heart beat.

Not being a smartass, but what good is one light like that going to be? Most of the time, you’re going to buy lights, at least in pairs, and lights like that in even bigger sets. Most people I know with tubes have at least four to six or more. I bought a set of eight.

Anyway, I’d probably go with Astera Titan’s over the Quasar Rainbows. The Astera’s have a much cleaner design and look if you end up using them as practicals or part of the set design. And the wireless control/app/runtime designation, etc. and built-in battery are pretty damn slick.
