I'm in need of a little advice. It seems whenever I'm editing my videos, I'm finding it difficult to determine if I'm going about it as efficiently as I should be. My question is, when you have all your videos imported from your camera, what are the steps you take when editing? I pretty much need a roadmap to follow. Here's what I do, maybe some of you can input on my current procedures:
1. Organize my clips (the ones I want to use/keep)
2. Select music
3. Cut videos in Adobe Premeire
4. Color Correct in After Effects
5. Add any necessary motion grapics in After Effects
Do you color correct all your clips before cutting the videos? Do you cut your videos all in After Effects? It just seems like I'm going about my editing "freestyle" and I'd like a bit more direction so that I can use my time more efficiently. Any input on this would be most graciously appreciated. Thanks folks =)
