Tips needed

I'm shooting a corporate documentary for a manufacturer or laptop batteries and ipod accessories- I need advice on the following tasks:

1. I want to shoot their products on a rotating table. Where do I find one? What's a DIY rotating table solution?

2. I'm using a dvx100 with my trusty agus35- I'll be shooting in assembly rooms, plastic molding rooms, and R&D labs- what are some lighting concerns? Should I bring a ligting kit and set one up from room to room? Or do you think natural lighting wil be enough.

3. What's the best DIY jib solution out there?

Thanks!

1. What about a record player/turntable? You could build a little platrom on it. The pro models have allow you to fine tune the rotation speed. Or, a lazy susan, like at the dinner table, but it's not powered.

2. Yes, light everything. Especially if you are shooting products, they should be lit, if you want it to look pro.

3. Semi-DIY... the Kessler Crane, it's great, and at a fair price.
