Tips for renting equipment?

I want to start renting out my Firestore FS-100 since I rarely use it these days. However, i'm a bit hesitant. Does anybody have any tips so I don't get ripped off by people? How can I make sure they don't run off with the equipment?

Seriously dont bother. If you want to get some cash back on non used equipment, just sell it. Not worth the hassle for a few bibs and bobs.

Agreed. Sell it and put a little of that money aside for whenever you need to rent one next.
