Tip on warning sign prior to a CRASH

Well, every system is different..... but on my maxed out system:

2GB / 1.2 TB / 3.2 P4 / yada yada yada...

After running PPR and editing for about 2.5 to 3 hours, when I render a small clip... and it doesn't render.... that is a sign the system is about to shut down.

Happens all the time in about 2 to 3 hours of steady editing.

Now, I simply save the main file, and shut it down.

I actually can beat the Crash almost everytime.

Keep an eye out for that one little clip that won't render....

hope it helps somebody out there....

I have exactly the SAME problem.

2Gb/600gb/ 3.4 P4 - with HT

You try to render a clip, and it all of a sudden starts playing but itsn't rendered, or sometimes just "green" video appears in it's place. If I try to do the render again, system crash. So I just save the file and restart the computer.

Only happens after several hours of processor intense editing (rendering alot).
