We were about to throw a Refrigerator off a crane.

(notice the Velbon tripod.... Aram hadnt slept for 3 days.... poor soul.)

Did you guys just go to a dump and ask them to drop a refrigerator?

Brevis and Butt-Head... heh heh... heh heh...

Nice pics. Whatcha shootin'?

Nice gut suck-in, Aram. It's barely noticeable. I'm a master of that technique myself. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I think it's just you and me John... even Yankee has one (or two)... I have buddies locally with the Brevis... and they got some parts so I can make one of Ed's adapters... and I'm chomping at the bit to do it, but I'd hoped there would be a consensus on these things by now.

So far it's looking like they're categorized like filters instead of a "best to worst" as I'd hoped.

I don't have a 35 adapter either.

It just seems like fighting against the format instead of working with it. Of course if someone wants to give me one, I might change my tune.

Jeez, one of the Brevis kids (naked off rails!) and his father :-) It's great to see one strapped to a camera other than my GS400.

Okay guys. I see two different 35mm adapters in one photo. That means you are in a position to tell me which is better, and why...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

The shoot out we will be doing soon will give all that juicy information. :)

The first and formost right off the bat is...
the Brevis35 is about an 1/8 of the weight due to the fact its carbon fiber and aluminum. I had it on that cheap tripod and it didnt even strain it. If you have ever used one of those cheap tripods it doesnt take much to make it tilt over no matter how much you tighten.

The brevis had more chroma abbrasion.

But the SG, with less chroma problems gets slightly soft at the edges. If youre cropping 16:9 it dosnt matter, but for 4:3 work. it can be an isssue if you have AN UBER picky client.

Our Client was thrilled with the images. Goes to show all the Geek stuff we obsess about means nothing in the real world.

That will be taken care of with the new acromats we are getting. I was using some cheap close up lenses until the acromats come in.

My, what big adaptors you have, boys...

And Timur, I just read your signature. Very funny, man. Thanks. Part III coming this week (fingers crossed!!!)
