I dont know what happened but I cant get them to open back up again. I tried the short cut method: Command 3, Command 2, Command 5. There just gone Including the Tool Bench. God dammit right in the middle of editing too. :badputer:

How did they disappear? Did you close FCP then re-open?

Go to the "view" menu, then "window", "arrange", and pick one of those.

If not, you may need to trash your prefs.

ctrl-U if that doesn't work then you may have closed your sequence. double click your sequence in the browser to open it again.

None of that worked. I think I accidently hit Command W. And what do you mean by trash my prefs?

Search for "FCP Rescue."
It's a free program and has worked for me on two occasions when I've corrupted preferences by (I believe) importing a project from another FCP system.

I dunno....when this happened to me, I just double clicked my sequence in my Browser and my timeline returned to the screen.
