Timelapse of fire that sent me packing

This is a timelapse of the Waldo Canyon fire. If you don't watch the whole thing, it's worth watching Tuesday (starting around 6:30). It was Tuesday afternoon that I had to leave my house near the fire (I think you'll see why). I had little time for capturing video (I took a small amount with my cell phone). But I'm glad someone documented this fire. A number of veteran firefighters said they had never seen anything like the fire behavior on tuesday.

OMG! And you had the nerve to do a timelapse? That's brave Steve.

I just said in an other tread how I'm bored to death with timelapses.
I usually click them away after a few seconds.
But this one had me sitting and watching through the whole 16 minutes.

I feel really sorry for the folks that live there.

I may have had the nerve, but someone else took the video :).

That is a compelling timelapse - I wasn't sure if I would be able to watch it because it hits so close to home (figuratively and literally, we live less than a mile from the area where 346 homes were lost on Tuesday)
