Im looking for an (mac) app that can basically make movies from stills.

timelapse
hyperlapse

features needed..
stabilisation (for hyplerlapse)
deflickering
maybe frame merge
time ramp?
pan/tilt/zoom (can do this later)

Any ideas for one the does it all?

The only really one stop shop is After Effects with something like the GBDeflicker plugin. That combo will do it all internally in one program, and is very feature rich. But it will cost you. Otherwise a range of freeware and a cheaper NLE will do the job but you'll need to bounce between programs to get the same functionality.

Premiere Elements ($70) or any other NLE for stablisation, time ramp, pan/tilt/zoom
+ MSUDeflicker/Virtualdub ($0) or GBDeflicker ($99) or LRTimelapse (99€) for Deflicker

OR

After Effects ($20 p/m) + MSUDeflicker/Virtualdub ($0) or GBDeflicker plugin ($99) or LRTimelapse (99€) for Deflicker

Um....what about Apple Motion ($49)? It will do the stabilization, time ramp (including optical flow) and pan/tilt/zoom and
frame merge. You will need a plug in for deflickering though.....but even After Effects needs a plug in for deflickering.
Motion seems like it might be a pretty decent solution for you though. Pretty sure there is a 30 day trial so no risk
to try it out. I personally really like it, it's a great program for less than two and a half months subscription to After Effects.

This is what I use

http://www.panolapse360.com/

The only thing it can't do is stabilisation.
It great for adding movement afterward like pans and tilts. The still images are projected onto a sphere and help add to create realistic post pans and tilts.

The demo version will output upto 720p so you can test it out before committing to buy.

Surinder.
