Timelapse for a year w/ DSLR

I'm looking to get advice on a rig or setup for an extended timelapse from a building using a few DSLRs that I'd stitch together to create a panorama. What I need to figure out is a rig or some way to maintain the perspective so that I can remove the cameras at will and then return them to the same spot and not lose my angle, height, etc. I need the timelapse to look seamless even though it'll only be filmed a few days per month over the next year. Since there's some night shots involved, my plan was to use Sony A7s II and mount in some sort of suction cup device that I could keep mounted on the inside of the building window, however, I really don't know what I'm looking for.

Anyone have ideas?

Thought about high quality webcams which stays in place and feed the internet rather than moving cameras about and trying to get them to match?

I have, but the location is somewhat remote and the resulting video will be projected on larger screens for an installation so it needs to be pretty high quality.

Well they do make 4K webcams.

Having removed cameras and then try to get them to match back up without a monitor with overlay tends to suck.

How often are you going to capture an image? That might help with suggestions.

But I agree that a webcam with something simple like a raspberry pi to store the images might be of value. Would be even nicer if you could set up a central storage share to deposit the images, then you would never need to touch the cameras or computers so re-alignment would be less difficult.

Don't trust a suction cap to stay in position for a whole year. I'd try for something bolted/screwed to a wall or floor if possible.
