Timecode problem Please Help

Hello, I have a really urgent question, how do I read a quicktime files timecode in After Effects 7. I batch captured a bunch of footage in Final Cut. Now I need to composite the majority of the footage in After Effects which needs to be precise. I can’t figure out how to read the files timecode in After Effects, is their a way to do this?

Please help, theirs a deadline approaching and I’m pretty stuck.

Is this still an issue (timecode from FCP Quicktime files) in AE CS5?

I'm just learning the AE basics, but every time I turn around someone is telling me the only way to do what I want to do (without major hassles) is Automatic Duck's Pro Import. After all this time, FCP and AE still don't play nice?
