I'm designing a recording system for a hospital that will have 5 simultaneous composite video sources. I will record to 5 seperate hard disk drives (Firestore, etc) or possibly DVD recorders so they can edit after the procedures. How can I provide timecode to all HDD's / DVD's? Any help would be greatly appreciated...I'd like to know of other formats or techniques that may work better in this application (no tape though)....must be very user-friendly!!THANKS!

I don't know about the firestore but I've never seen a DVD recorder that had a TC input.
First you'll need some type of pro deck that has a TC input. (I know you said no tape.) Then you'll need a TC generator that can jam sync the TC to all of your decks.
