Timecode Disaster: MultiCam solution?

Okay, this whole project (as far as Timecode goes) is a disaster. Nothing's going properly and I'm pretty sure it's because the Timecode wasn't handled properly from the get-go.

I have A and B Cam footage that I would've loved to Multi-Cam, the problem is that the timecode for the clips isn't accurate at all.

Is there a manual method to simulate Multi-Cam or to force Multi-Cam to work around improperly acquired timecode?

I thought that perhaps aligning A and B cam for each segment on a Sequence and manually matching these two up, the editor would then have to cut from the timelines the selections that he wants.

Is there an easier way to go about this?

you can have multi-cam sync the streams by setting an out point or in point for each and aligning to one of those.

You can multicam clips just using in points. Just find and mark an in point on each clip where they sync up, highlight the clips and hit Modify>Make Multiclip. A window will come up asking which method to use and select 'in points'. FCP will then make a Multiclip.

I have the talent clap his hands once after the cameras start rolling.

In post I'll trim each clip right at the hand clap, then make a multiclip from there. So far it's worked flawlessly and I've done a lot of them.
