Timecode Breaks?

Well it seems every tape I log has a timecode break in it. The program detects this and I am unable to batch capture like this. The only thing I can do is batch 2-3 clips at one time to get them importing.
Is there anyway around this? If I am going in and logging w/ the in-out and then trying to do a batch capture?

Please help as im trying to edit a snowboard movie....

Thanks :(

I guess the only way out would be to copy your tape to a new one ... I hate those tapes as much as everyone and just have a stack here to capture. Especially with sports, every time someone pulls something you can bet there'll be a timecode break because the guy wants to see the footy and the filmer doesn't properly rewind to the end of the timecode.

Start using Final Cut Pro on the MAC. It has a setting where on detection of a timecode break it automatically creates new clips. Not sure if Avid do this, but I'm sure Avid users will let you know after this reply.

Considering we're in the FCP forum I assume he's already on FCP. If you are Zoomin, there is a capture preference like Steadi said that will automatically make a new clip when it finds a timecode break. I just wouldn't want to have to recapture one of these tapes.
Peace,
