Hmm.

I usually wear work gloves. Would the blade snag them and pull my finger down with it once it hit flesh?
 
It should cut through the glove, then stop as it makes contact with your skin

I remember when this first aired. I cringed watching that guy stick his hand in there.
 
Talk about cringing... They could have used more than a hot dog or a finger.

Just started to use one of these saws at work.

Has some ergonomic quirks (I keep hitting the HUGE stop button with my knee), but the piece of mind is nice.
