Time remap

time remap, in control tab, in the viewer,in the graph, the line is so horizontal that I'm having a really hard time making ajustments. when I try to move a keyframe on the Y axe it makes big frame jumps, very hard to make small changes like this.

is there a way to change that?
Can anyone give a hand?

Thanks a lot to all of you.

i never ever use that horrid line on the control tab.

Press option-T to enable the keyframe thing then press the "S" key 3 times to get the time remap tool. You can drag points around.

Thanks JPenna. I've done it that way before but now I wanted play with forward and reverse as in making a funny dance out of actions, so I thought the graph is the way to do that.

I'v seen tutorial where the graph line is 45 angle but I get it very flat so is difficult to move keyframes.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Hmm... I guess that if the time remapping isn't doing it, the only other way would be to cut it up into clips and mess with the speed of each (right-click, Speed...)

that was fast. I'm trying to avoid that way and see if there is a smarter, faster way. Also want to learn how to use the motion graph.

Thanks for replying so fast.

IMO, their time remap tool sucks. I put in a feature request for this to improved in the next version.

Difficult to control, and also, there is no option to change the duration of the clip. It remaps time within the specified duration, but you can't set key-framing for speed changes with changes in clip duration, which is very limiting. (you SHOULD be able to set a keyframe and specify the speed at that keyframe, the speed at the next keyframe, whether it is smooth in/out, etc. and then it should interpolate the difference, and change the clip duration as neccessary)... but also retain the option to change the speed as it currently has.
