Time lasp (no capture in Vegas)

Vegas 6 will capture all my other footage BUT when it comes to the Time Lasp clips( done with the DVX) it will not capture those .Yet my Pinnacle Studio 10 does .

I even tried capturing those separate , still no capture .The preview window shows the clips . No frame drops. Just no capture .
Any Ideas

I haven't ever tried capturing time lapse footage, so this is just guessing at some things that could be happening. First, is Vegas breaking up each piece into separate clips? Uncheck the Enable DV scene detection setting under the Capture tab in the preferences box in the Video Capture window. but you said is wasn't capturing at all? Is "Stop capture on dropped frames" checked? Maybe that's a problem source. Are you using the capture video button or the capture tape button?

That is most likely what it is, also make sure that in the options you have "minimum clip length" turned off. Basically it is throwing away anything that is not at least "n" amount of time. Since you are shooting time laps, you probably have only .5sec clips, and vegas is discarding them.

I'll give your suggestions a try .

Scharky ..yes it is .5 sec clips .

I'm not home at this moment ..I'll try your suggestions later on. Just getting ready to head out to the camp for an all night shoot for the Horror fest .
