Hey all. Im looking to emulate a certain effect I've several time recently. I Thinks it's a combination of time lapse/ long shutter speed filming and post effects.
Here's an example, http://www.demoreelnetwork.com/chupap/index.shtml click on View Director of Photograph Reel ( thanks Charles Papart!) and check out the bar scene at 1:27, the people in the background are do what im talking about.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Edit Doh! Including the link might be a good idea!

Is that on Charles' .mac site? I'd like to check it out... I'm a huge fan of timelapse/slowshutter.
Please advise on where to find his reel. Thanks.

the link to charles's reel is right in the first post!

charles is nearly a god with a camera.

i think its just a very short while before he hits it really big and his name starts showing up in big productions as dp.

he did an amazing shot in mister 3000 running with the steadicam following the ball.

i haven't seen the movie yet but there was an article about it in some cinematography magazine.

i think what we need is for people who are really good at a certain technique to sit down and document it and give some screen shots.

just like walter graff does with his newsletter of lighting setups.
