hey what i would like to know whats are the setting to doing a time lapes with my dvx100a for a short period of time?also what are the best for filming a sun set?thanks

I filmed both of those using normal settings... 24pa with whatever shutter speed you find appropriate (i usually just use "off" (50) and then use NDs with slight iris adjustments) and then spped it up in post.
Don't know if that's the look you're going for... if you want something with more motion blur I would shoot with the 1/24 shutter speed, but unless you're using something like an HVX or better with variable framerates, I don't know how much better it'll get.
Also, search around the forum, I know this topic was discussed before, inculding a recent one a week or so ago.
