'Tile' video FX?

New Blue make a nifty looking Tile FX http://www.newbluefx.com/products/essential-tools/video-essentials-6/Tile , but I was under the impression that native Vegas included a much simpler version of the same thing (perhaps calling it something else)?

All I want to do is 'tile' repeat the same video image in e.g. a 3x3 pattern on screen. I realise I could do that manually with 9 separate tracks, each using Pan/Crop to locate the same shrunken video onto a different spot on screen - but that seems rather impractical if I then want to go further, with e.g. 4x4 or 5x5 tiling.

Any other ideas?
 
Apparently not - it installs without complaint, but then doesn't appear in View > Extensions.

Hmm, I suppose I could try reinstalling Vegas 9...

Sorry about that. I know a lot of Vegas users have been asking for this product to be updated but it looks like the author has no interest in doing so :(

but it does have a 30 day free trial :) - thanks, that would probably be enough for this particular project, so I may give it a try.
