Thursday august 25th... I decided to make a zombie short entry!

Ok I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it until i saw that the deadline has been extended. So as of now, on august 25th with barely 3 weeks to go, I'm going to do a movie.

I've started preproduction, i already had my script and i started getting people involved. its spiralled pretty impressively, I'm going to have nearly a full crew it looks like, people with experience at that!

I think i'm going to have a second unit director who actually graduated from film school, a real lighting guy, a real audio guy, karate black belts for stunts etc.

I'm even being given a bunch of lights to use. This is gonna be crazy, but i figure if i can do this, i can do anything!

much luck! I shot ours in one day, as my sched has been uber-busy.... "you can do it!.....all night long!!"
 
No need to wish you luck.... sounds like you have the kit (not physically) to make it work. Well done.
 
I just got my at 4073a mic today, and a friend is letting me borrow his phantom power generator with eq and efx. I'm giddy! Got another guy with a dvx himself in town to come shoot B roll.

This is gonna be a gas!
 
Lucky bastard! Good for you, I got a sound guy (me), a script writer(me) director (me) etc. etc. I'm the only one in my town who knows what a DVX is.
