Ok weird question ...I wanna duplicate the effect in Quentin tarantinos death proof opener where for a split second the words thunderbolt whip in then goes to the crappy footage of death proof. does anyone remember this ?...anywho heres the catch i cant really use text behavior in motion cuz ive imported the text from illustrator...anybody have any ideas ?

Looks like a quick reveal. Use a mask. I would use motion, its REALLY easy.

Import your clip, import your graphic, add a quick rectangle mask and do a reveal by a few frames, maybe 3 or 4?

Heres a link to the clip, the image comes up at 1:17. Its the old style terror type movie intros.
