I saw it last week. Pretty good film in my opinion. Definitely character-driven, which worked well because even the minor characters were quirky and not just one-note types.
 
Thumbsucker is simply an analogy for an addiction. I don’t feel that bedwetting is the same type of addiction that the novelist was trying to accomplish during creation. Its more of a getting away from your fears, “calming you down” same as your cigarettes same as your alcohol, same as your drugs, thumbsucking is just a similar addiction obviously doesn’t compare but if you simple it down, its an addiction none the less. Its so crazy to me that films like these don’t get acclaim, “looks completely lame –john hudson”, I guess not every one can appreciate art. Remember were in the business of art, creating something new, telling your story.
 
Damn! why don't we have the same titles here?!!! most of the films you're talking about, I don't know which ones they are since the titles are different!!!!!! rrrrrrr
 
The names are usually better in other countries. For example, Danny the dog is cooler than unleashed.

You should just go on IMDB.com they give you the alternate titles.
