Thumbnail timecode problem in DVDA

I am having difficulty in setting still images in the thumbnails in my Scene Selections menu in DVDA 4.5. All of the chapters seemed to import correctly when I created the scene selection menu, but when trying to set specific frames (instead of the first frame of the chapter) in the Thumbnail Properties, the timecode is not matching up. I will type in the timecode of the specific frame, but the frame it then gives me for that timecode is different from the frame in the timeline as I view it in Vegas. It almost looks like DVDA is "stretching out" the timecode.

To repeat, the INITIAL settings are correct, when I have DVDA create the scene selections menu. But it's when I type in a specific timecode that the timecode appears to be off.

Hope I've explained this problem well enough. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, have you resolved it?

What's the timebase of the footage?

What's the timebase of your Vegas project?

What did you render as (timebase, format, etc.?)

The original source media is interlaced 29.97 DV AVI, in a 29.97 timeline, and rendered out to 29.97 mpeg2. When I discovered this problem, I imported the rendered mpeg2 into a Vegas timeline to compare with the original project timeline, and everything matches up (i.e., all the chapters in the mpeg start out at the same timecode as in the DV). And, as I said in my first post, the chapters in the scene selection menu initially show up with the correct timecode, but when I try to select a different frame for the thumbnail, that's when the timecode gets screwy (at least, as far as DVDA seems to be reading it). Very strange...
