Hello,

This is the story of an ambitious young Indian woman coming to grips with her unplanned motherhood. I wrote this based a colleague's idea. I would like to understand if it has any kind of resonance at all with an international audience.

I can't read RAR files. you should post it as a PDF, TEXT or worst case RTF file.

Hi 500lb, the site is not letting me post pdf files. So, I saved my MS Word document into a .txt file. The site won't let me upload this too on the grounds that it is a .doc file.

What am I doing wrong here?

At this point, I'm not sure... but I suspect you also have to tell it the FORMAT of the file, not just the file extension. IOW, you can name a file anything you want, it's what's inside that counts.

Yes sir, I understand that. I tried to:
1) "Save As" the .doc as .txt: Site says it's a .doc file

2) I tried copy-pasting my .doc contents into a new Notepad file and saved it as a .txt. Site says it's a .doc file

3) Saved my .doc as .htm and .htm as .txt. Site says it's a .doc file
